Unifying the way Sobeys meets, presents, and collaborates
We worked with Sobeys to modernize their AV infrastructure and establish a consistent, intuitive standard across boardrooms, meeting rooms, and training spaces nationwide. As part of this process, ET Group facilitated a Hybrid Discovery Experience (HDE) workshop, engaging Sobeys leaders and end-users to identify hybrid collaboration challenges and define what success should look like in their workplace. These insights shaped a scalable strategy that balances standardization, sustainability, and future growth.

Roadmap and Recommendations
Following the workshop, we delivered a tailored roadmap with actionable insights. These findings became the foundation for Sobeys’ AV modernization strategy—ensuring investments aligned with their people, culture, and long-term goals.
Discovery Workshop with Leaders and Teams
We facilitated an interactive HDE session with Sobeys’ leaders and end-users to explore workplace challenges. The workshop surfaced gaps in technology enablement, meeting equity, and space design—while giving teams a chance to co-create their vision for success.
Boardroom Model Setting the Standard
We delivered an executive boardroom with dual front displays, multi-lens front camera for equal and engaging coverage, and a rear PTZ camera for capturing presenters standing at the front of the room. All of this is brought together seamlessly with a one-touch-to-join operation and automated camera modes for a natural, hands-off user experience.
Consistency Across Every Room Type
From small huddle rooms to mid-size spaces, we deployed standardized table connectivity, camera height/angle, audio coverage, and touch panel controls - so employees have the same intuitive experience in every office.
Sustainable AV Integration
We carefully blended existing equipment with new solutions to maximize value, reduce waste, and deliver a consistent AV ecosystem across Sobeys’ national footprint.
Application Specific Spaces
We designed unique spaces for specific needs that weren’t met under the company room templates, to facilitate better collaboration experiences and improve productivity for different groups.
Seamless Tech Integration for Meeting Equity
Across sites, functional existing equipment was carefully integrated with new technology to create a connected AV ecosystem that is cost-efficient, sustainable, and consistent for users. Cisco Quad/PTZ cameras, along with ceiling microphones and Biamp ceiling speakers, ensure participants are clearly seen and heard—delivering engaging, equitable meeting experiences for every space.
