A Webex Room installation covers everything needed to turn an ordinary space into a purpose-built Cisco collaboration environment: hardware design, Cisco device procurement, physical installation, and platform configuration. ET Group manages site assessment through cable runs, mounting, device commissioning, and handoff. UCaaS licensing is handled through your carrier separately.
What Cisco hardware is typically used in a Webex Room?
The right hardware depends on room size and use case. Smaller huddle spaces suit the Cisco Room Bar or Room Bar Pro, while larger rooms use the Board Pro G2, PTZ 4K cameras, and a Room Navigator controller. We recommend hardware based on your dimensions, capacity, and workflows.
What is the difference between Webex hardware and Webex UCaaS?
Webex UCaaS is a hosted calling and messaging platform delivered by a telecom carrier. Webex Rooms hardware is the physical technology (including cameras, displays, audio, and computing equipment) that equips your spaces for high-quality video collaboration. ET Group’s expertise is on the hardware and room side of the equation; your carrier manages UCaaS.
