Bringing Interoperability to an Ontario Energy Provider

Bringing New Life to Legacy Meeting Rooms with Pexip

A high profile energy provider in Ontario was struggling to connect their aging infrastructure to their newly chosen Microsoft Teams video conferencing platform. With a critical need to stay connected to a large network of clients, they could not afford to spend a lot of time completely redesigning their meeting spaces and retraining their team on new technologies. Our team of Unified Communications experts understood this challenge and implemented Interoperability — a key solution that allowed this client to seamlessly migrate their legacy hardware-based room to a flexible software-based experience. Today their team reaps the benefits of increased ROI due to a budget friendly room refresh that leveraged their existing tech, while enabling multi-platform collaboration and enhanced calendar integration.

What we did For an Ontario Energy Provider

This utility company was facing serious limitations with with their out-dated Cisco video conferencing hardware, as it was obstructing their ability to connect to their meeting platform of choice—Microsoft Teams. By migrating their legacy system to a software-based infrastructure with Pexip Infinity, their team can now seamlessly host or join meeting in Teams or any other cloud-based platform such as Google Meet, Zoom and Webex. All while maintaining feature functionality, and having flexibility when it comes to upgrading the devices in their spaces as their needs change.
